If I diasable news alerts, what important message would I possibly miss?
So far everytime "check news" popup all I got is something like this from IB: "..... EXCHANGEAVAILABLE EXCHANGE:default MESSAGE:amex/spy/stk". |

You never know what you could miss. You could have 10,000 messages like you described for 1 critical one that may make a difference.

I guess I am trying to get an idea of what thepurpose of "News" is. Can yougivea couple of examples of critical news to illustrate?
I thought today ES stoppedtrading would be thekind of news worth knowing, butnothing appeared today. |
