Can't use / view "Data box".
Environment: HP multimedia laptop or Dell 630, OS Win XP SP3 Recreate the issue: 1/ Start NT 7 in "Extended Desktop" mode. 2/ On the chart window activate "Data Box" on the chart windows. 3/ Move the "Data Box" to the extended desktop window. 4/ Exit NT7 5/ Disconnect monitor or turn off "Extended Desktop" mode. At this point without going back to "Extended Desktop" mode I could not find a workaround to be able to use the Data Box The same for charts however closing the chart and opening a new will provide a work around. This might been an issue on 6.5 and earlier versions as well, however I am not familiar with earlier versions. I don't think this would be critical however quite annoying. Attila |

Hello Attila,
Can you please tell me if the Data Box is listed in the Windows task bar? If so, please right click it and select Move. Hold any arrow key on your keyboard and hover your mouse. Check if the Data Box will re-appear.

Jason, it is not a critical bug for sure. The "Data Box" does show up on the task bar. I've already tried your suggested method before submitting the report however did not succeed.
Kind regards, atata |

Hello atata,
Are you able to close the current Data Box window by right clicking it and select Close. Subsequently open up a new Data Box window? In addition, I suggest not to leave the Data Box on a secondary monitor when your next session will only use one monitor.

Jason, yes I am able to close the "Data Box" window, and than activate it again, yet it is positioned on the extended desktop. As per second part of your email, that is the only manual work around to get that fixed, meaning going back to the original setup and move the "Data Box" back to the laptop screen. atata
