Market replay

Hi

In NT7 can the market replay feature use historical data which is downloaded via the Historical Data Manager, or do we still need to leave NT connected to the live market to record data for replay?

(I tried to replay data downloaded via the Historical Data Manager and the market Replay feature doesn't show it as available and am wondering if it was just some mistake I made.)

Replay data downloaded fine, however I notice that it does not show up in the 'Available data' for replay until I shut down NT7 and restart.

Would be nice if it showed up without a restart.

Hello Paul,

I was not able to reproduce it on my end. I downloaded Market Replay data while connected to the Simulated Data Feed.

I disconnected the Simulated Data Feed and connected to the Market Replay. When I check 'Available Data', the downloaded data is reflected.
Can you please tell me what beta version you have installed. You can check this at Help-->About.

In addition, please reboot your PC and try the same steps once more and check if the data is reflected without a restart.

Hi Jason

After rebooting it worked fine. Sorry for the erroneous report. BTW I am on Beta 10.

Any idea when Beta 11 is due out - it contains a fix for a bug that is a show-stopper for me.

Unfortunately there is no ETA yet when the next beta version will be released.
