Default disconnected from quote server()

Upon connecting to MB trading I get this on the log, accompanied by no realtime data. It always loads historic data up until the point that I logged in.

Hello Kablooie,

I suggest to check for software, such as (corporate) firewalls, spyware and anti-virus software, that could be interfering the connection.

Try recreating the MBTrading connection and check if this will make any difference. Go to Tools-->Account Connections to remove and recreate a new one. A MBTrading connection guide can be found at the following link.

If the issue remains, please send me your MBTrading username and password to support[at]ninjatrader[dot]com, so I can test your connection on my end. Please put 'Attn Jason' in the subject header and reference this forum thread.

Hello Kablooie,

Do you perhaps have another PC you can test the MBTrading connection?

Have you tried recreating the connection. Did it make any difference?

I will only test your connection on my end to check if the issue might be related to the connection itself. Once I tested the connection, it will be removed.

I'm getting the same issue in MBT Navigator, so I'm sure it is either MB's servers, or my pc. I'm not sure if changing any settings in NT will get it to work, or if I need to do something to windows. I've disabled all firewalls.

I suggest to check if the port and IP address that the MBTrading connection uses are not blocked on your PC.

Could it be you use a router as per your internet connection? If so, please connect your PC directly to your modem, bypassing the router, and check if this will make a difference.
