Market Analyzer Bugs & Feedback(Copy/Paste/Save grid)

Dear NT team

The new market analyzer is superb in terms of performance when connecting it with either Google or Yahoo.

However, I have three inputs to it:

1) If I open a Market Analyzer, connect, load a template it works. As soon as I try to open another template on the same market analyzer, it crashes. So I have to close the MA each time, start a new one in order to apply different template.

2) I cannot receive any end of day data (like any daily close). I would have to choose an indicator SMA(Close, 1) to circumvent this issue. LastPrice or LastClose is not showing any value.

3) I wished I could easily copy/paste an instrument list from Excel into the Market Analyzer (assuming the tickers are all already listed in the Instrument Manager ). Or if this is not possible (why not?), I wished I could manually enter the tickers into the grid and then at least save the grid for another use later. But I can only choose from an instrument list. As my tickers change frequently I would have to either a) type in all the tickers everytime (which is annoying) or b) maintain several instrument lists (which is also annoying because I would have to either manually choose the tickers I would like to include from the Instrument Manager or import the tickers over and over again right into a new list. This again is difficult, because I am tracking many tickers on different exchanges).

Please resolve this issue in order that I can paste a list into the Market Analyzer and/or safe the Market Analyzer rows for later use (just as I can safe a MA template).

It would also be great if I could either drag and drop a ticker from the Market Analyzer into a predefined chart template.

The "send to chart" function is too inconvenient.

Also, if I am using this function, the chart always opens as a 1min Chart. How can I pre-define the default time intervall? I would like it to be opened it with my default template with 1day bars.

1. I was unable to reproduce. Can you please provide the MA templates you are using?

2. Not sure why you don't get LastPrice. Please ensure you are on 7.0.0.5. Connect to Yahoo, open a blank MA with no templates attached (only columns = Instrument, AskPrice, BidPrice, LastPrice), Right click -> Add Instrument List Dow30. All fields should populate quickly when you are within market hours.

4. You could try using the Link feature and link the MA to a 1 day chart.
