Default Volume charts impossible after merging...

NT Version: 6.0.1000.2
Data feed: e*Signal

Hello,

today I merged ES 06/07 into ES 09/07 and found, that obviously the tick - volume information of the old contract (ES 06/07) is not being retained by the merging process.

Consequently, after merging the two contracts, all fixed time interval charts of ES 09/07 are displayed correctly, the volume chart of ES 09/07 however is toatally crippled due to the missing volume information from ES 06/07.

Now my question: Is this a feature or is it a bug? :-)

Thanks

Hi,

During the merge process, it will tell you what data was merged and what was not. If "tick" data did not exist in your dbase for the June contract, then it would not have merged over.

If the tick data did exist and was merged, try opening a new chart.

Default Resolution

Thank you Ray for the quick reply,

in the meantime I empirically tried out a few things and also closed the program and all charts by exiting via ControlCenter.
After a restart of NT, all volume aggregations were perfectly ok. :-)

Sincerely
