Price Alerts

Hi,

I am trying to figure out how to set an alert for when a stock gets to a certain price. I didn't see anything in the manual.

There should already be a prebuilt indicator that does this. Please see the PriceAlert indicator.

I tried that indicator but for one, it crashes every time I try to apply it, second I would have to apply that indicator over 200 times to alert for every symbol and on top of that each alert would trigger for the other symbols which it was not set for. Is there a better way to accomplish this?

Apart from that indicator, NT currently does not have a global price alert concept. This is on our list though.

Regarding the crash.

- Sounds like you can reproduce each every time
- What chart are you applying it to
- Can you provide exact steps and or image of the indicators setting before pressing APPLY so we can try and reproduce here
- I can't get it to crash

Are you referring to the global price alerts mentioned in the previous post?

Yes,

I trade over 150 symbols and I set alerts at price levels for all of them but it is not possible to do that with NT at this point.
