No trades and orders in IB
I use NT 6 and IB demo version 870.2
In can connect to IB and receive all the date, but when i place orders, nothing happens in IB, and no API screen appears either. Can somebody help me? |

- make sure you go with the TWS standalone version
- not sure what you mean by API screen - which instrument?

I do have the TWS standalone version, and i want to trade on the gloex, with an ES future. The api screen normally pops up in TWS, but now nothing happens.

well forget about the api screen. when i place buy or sell orders, they just don't appear in my IB TWS i use the demo version 870.2 and the free ninjatrader version.

does it have to do with :Global Simulation Mode , and can i turn it off?

Yes, if you are using the free version, you can't place live trades. The IB demo account is considered live since the orders leave NinjaTrader. Please visit our purchase page below for various options to enable live trading.

this means no orders and positions appear in IB TWS, so i can't test how the API behaves , even in the demo version o TWS?

Unfortunately that is correct. NinjaTrader is a free application except when trading live. We can't differentiate between TWS demo and live brokerage account, programatically, its the same. What we do offer is a 30 day money back guarantee for first time purchasers.
