Can anyone tell me how chart day only session for ES (S&P e-mini) on Ninjatrader running on Zenfire. The equivalent symbol for Tradestation is @ES.D I'm new to Ninjatrader. Thanks in advance. |

Hello Cwicsilver,
Thank you for your post and welcome to the NinjaTrader support forum! This can be accomplished using the standard ES. Please take the following steps: Right click in your chart and select properties. In the properties window, set the Session Begins and Session Ends properties to market open/close in your local time and click OK.

Great info. Many thanks.
I have got only one more question - How do I see a continuous contract for ES? (not for specfic months) Tradestation equivalent symbol is @ES (not like @ESZ09 where only December contract is visible). Cheers. Quote:

Hello Cwicsilver,
Unfortunately Zen-Fire does not offer continuous contracts at this time. You may however create your own continuous contract using the Merge feature within NinjaTrader. I have provided a link below to our Help Guide that goes over the Merge feature. http://www.ninjatrader-support.com/H...eV6/Merge.html If connected to data provider that provides a continuous contract such as eSignal or TradeStation you would use the expiry date of ##-## when adding the instrument to your Defalt list. Please let me know if I may be of further assistance.

thariman, you could change the eSignal related ES mapping then or create a new contract for this to keep them both, however much easier would be using the full session data (eSignal 'creates' the day session anyways) and then setting up the chart session times to reflect the daysession in your local computer set time zone (just double click on the chart to enter those in the properties).

I see Tony, thanks for clarifying - unfortunately accessing this mapping is not supported.
