Hi,
I supply a home grown app with histroy data from NinjaTrader. My problem is when I sign on at 8am for example. Some of the Forex Crosses will show history before sign on, others will not. I have tried to reload history ect. It shows on the charts, but will not export. It does export up to 2359 from the night before????. I need to have all the data from 0001 - 8am. Any ideas??? Hello Joe,
What dates are you using in the Export window? Make sure the current day is entered as 'To date'. Am I correct, no current day data is exported for the charts that do not display historical data for the current day? Please right click in these charts and select 'Reload Historical Data'. Check if the requested data is present in the chart. If so, please export the data and check if it will be exported.

Here is what I get when i export. Today's date is set correctly and it does show today since I logged in.
I have chosen reload historical data several times and the data is present in the chart all the way to 0001. That is what is puzzling about this. The data is there but I cannot export. Thanks, Joe |

Can you please create a brand new chart for the AUDCAD and leave it opened.
Subsequently export the data and check once more.

Joe, which NinjaTrader version and broker / datafeed connections are you using? Do you spot any error in the log after the export?

Hi,
Using 6.5.1000.12 Live. Broker is IB. I am attaching the Aud/Cad Data I received. Do not usually trade Fridays so sorry about getting back so late. Once again the chart does show the missing data from yesterday? Notice: 20090909 235700;0.92735;0.92755;0.92735;0.9275;1 20090909 235800;0.9275;0.9276;0.9273;0.9275;1 20090909 235900;0.9275;0.9275;0.9272;0.92735;1 20090910 085100;0.93005;0.93015;0.93005;0.93005;21500000 20090910 085200;0.93015;0.93035;0.9297;0.9297;568300000 20090910 085300;0.9297;0.92995;0.9294;0.92945;722100000 20090910 085400;0.92945;0.92945;0.9291;0.92915;702700000 20090910 085500;0.9291;0.9295;0.929;0.92945;509800000 The gap is still there even 24 hours later. I believe that because of the late log in I received all of todays. Could it be some kind of session setting?? Note: I logged off at 312 am last night. That is where it stops on todays so same problem. Thanks, Joe PS: No log error readings.

I have a Workspace set up with Market Analyzers and Several Charts that load on startup. If I delete all of these and open a blank chart, the system does another load of data. If I export then, it includes all times, but does not send volume (Is this proper )?
Yesterday when asked to load a new chart I did but did not close the others as I was in a trade. At least I found a way around this but you may want to look into this as you cannot load a workspace before you export. Thank you for your time, You have a great product and this is one of the only problems I have ever had Joe PS: One other insteresting note. If I add Volume to the chart, and then export, It recreates the problem, but adds the volume to the export????

Thank you for your indepth reply and kind words! Meanwhile we had an upgrade to 6.5.1000.13, could you please recheck your issue on this release? You can upgrade via Help > Download Site in the software.
Also: when the data is missing upon creating the chart > did you right click in it and select 'Reload Historical Data'? Thanks
