Default spread as column in market analyzer

just an idea, would it be possible in NT7 to display/sort assets in market analyzer in respect to actual spread (ask-bid which both are present there?) or more than that: average spread for last several minutes? might be useful.

Hello nicknamed,

Thank you for your post and suggestions.

I have not seen this option being implemented in NinjaTrader 7 at this time. I will forward this to our development team for future considerations.

I have also provided a link below that goes over some of NinjaTrader 7 features and enhancements.

http://www.ninjatrader.com/webnew/NT7/NinjaTrader7.html

Please let me know if I may be of further assistance.

Default This is a no-brainer!

What a fantastic idea -- being able to display spreads in the MA window -- and it usually comes standard on many charting platforms. So it seems like something the development team *should* do. And the idea of enabling a function to average spreads over time intervals is an even better idea.

Nicely done NickNamed. I only hope the "Development Team" takes it on board. This is a great tool that I have up to now used in Excel, but it's a pain in the arse having to look over at the spreadsheet when something pops up in the MA window.

This can be done in NT7 by developing a custom indicator which can then be inserted into a column in an MA window.

Well, I guess to check the current spread if you're trading Forex spot or less liquid products.
