Custom dataseries

Greetings

I would like to create a dataseries where for example an inside bar is consolidated into the previous bar. Naturally this indicator would be plotted in a bottom pane. In this scenario matching the indicator with the price bars will be a problem. I assume creation of such an indicator will not be possible with NT6.5. However posted screens of NT7 give the impression that building such an indicator will be indeed possible and issues regarding price bar/indicator sync can be managed as illustrated by the range bar indicator image:

Are these assumptions correct?

Sorry not sure what you mean. DataSeries are already synced perfectly in NT6.5. If you want to offset it one bar that would be done through your own code.

Well then, allow me to simplify my question:

which are custom candlestick bars created as an indicator, is that only possible with NT7 or is NT6.5 also capable of doing this?

That would be for NT7 only correct. To clarify, those are not done by indicators, it is just a chart with multiple bars series on it.
