Default yesterday's prices are all wrong on my charts..never fixed today

The index prices are wrong and is showing the spx highs yesterday at 1027. I spoke with barchart, who is my data provider..and this was their respsonse. Any suggestions on getting yesterdays prices back. It is hard to draw trendlines with missing numbers. Thanks in advance..Gary


Mr. Dean,

We apologize for the inconvenience. Ninja 6.5 is pointed to an older
API on the Barchart side. The Barchart server was updating but not storing
the data. Unfortunately, we have no way of getting that back. The new
Barchart API that is compatible with Ninja 7.0 has this data in a
completely different format. That is why we can not slap it into the older
server. Ninja 7.0 is supposed to be released in a Beta version at the end
of September. Once again we apologize for the inconvenience.

Hello Gary,

Thank you for your note.

It is true that NinjaTrader 7 will be using a newer version of the BarChart API.
Unfortunately, I have no work-around for you aside from using another data source to obtain that days data.

what about of I just remove ninja and reload it again..will the prices pop up then or are they gone forever. This is a problem for me, as I have a subscription based web site. Not having correct candles will be very tough. Any suggestions as far as data [provider?

Thank you for your reply.

If BarChart no longer has this data available, the data will not reload even after an uninstall.

Unfortunately, I am not able to recommend one provider over another. eSignal and DTN.IQ do, however, offer a data-only service which may meet your needs for the time being.

OK, I have just signed up for the e-signal data feed, but I can't get that data feed to open in ninja. Any suggestions?

Thank you for your reply.

If you have not subscribed to Level II data from eSignal, you must leave the “Level II server” field (highlighted in yellow below at the following link: http://www.ninjatrader.com/webnew/support_esignal.htm) blank. Level II data provides the Depth-of-Market information for NinjaTrader and this data will not appear in NinjaTrader if you have not subscribed to it.
