Hi there,
I just loaded a 15 minute chart on the GBPUSD and my bars go from 9:15AM May 2nd right to 3:45AM May 3rd. It seems May 1st to May 2nd is fine. My connection is Gain Capital. Any ideas on what is causing this? Thanks. |

You likely had setup your connection so that data is pulled from our server. Our server had an outage yesterday and did not record GAIN data. Sorry for the inconvenience.

To fill in the missing data, you can switch Historical Data service Providers for the day and use GAIN's servers since they do offer 24 hours data.
You can do this via Tools > Account Connections and change your Historical Data settings for the GAIN connection. Ray

Yeah, I just did that and the data comes through great. Any difference between Gain Servers and NT Servers?
Could I use NT servers and specify Gain as the backup? Thanks again. |

GAIN provides only 24 hours of data.
Download is extremely slow. You can not use GAIN as back up. You have to manually change it.

Ok...what I did was create a new connection to Gain's servers. And now I see data going back a week or so (15 minute chart). So, does NT store the incoming feed locally?
In other words, now that I switched to Gain and filled in the gap, can I switch back to NT and it should "take over" from there while still using the stored data between the missing period? Hope that makes sense. ![]() |

Exactly. NT stores the data on your local PC, now that you have backfiled the gap, you can go back to using NinjaTrader servers.

Perfect....not to be anal, but this would also be the case (local storing of data) if I used the ATI to push data in from MBTrading?
Thanks again! |

Yes, this would be the case if provided you had a chart displaying the data you are pushing in.
