Default Renko Help

Hello All. First time posting in this section, so please be patient. If the answer to my questions is already posted somewhere, please feel free to tell me the link.

I have read the instructions on how to use the strategy analyzer and put in the parameters. My only problem is that I can't seem to get the time frame of renko into the fields. I am using the renko indicator (interval settings) that is posted in the NT forum.
The method I want to test is very basic, 2 indicators, but the chart is renko.

If someone can please help, I would be most grateful.

Regards,
K.

kermut, I believe there are two versions around, one Renko bars type and one Renko 'channel' indicator mimicing the renko chart...which one do you use? For the bars type you would need to select it in the Strategy Analyzer data series drowdown to base your strategy on this...

Hi,

So does that mean I just make my strategy and then drop it down onto the renko chart?

Regards,
K.

Both is possible, either start the strategy from the Renko chart directly or use the Strategy Analyzer to test it, please see my screenshot.
