New NFA Rules w/ Forex

Hi -- I am interested in trying out NT with Forex trading. I currently use FXCM as a broker, but I dont' think they allow NT.

So I'm looking for another broker, most likely Forex.com. But I have a question about the new NFA FIFO rules that will take effect on Aug. 1. You will no longer be able to place limit or stop orders at US-based brokers. How will this affect NT? Will we still be able to use "ghost" stops or trailing stops that are not sent to the broker until the price is hit? Will the order management still work the same as it does now?

It is inaccurate to say that you can no longer place stop or limit orders. You ARE able to submit stop and limit orders against a "net" position in your account, what you are no longer able to do is submit stop/limit against an order based position. In short, many FX brokers allowed offsetting positions meaning, you could have multiple positions in a market in your account (one short, one long) vs just having a "net" position like it is in the futures industry. NinjaTrader only works at a "net" position level with GAIN and alway has thus there will be no issues with our users in this area.
