Is it possible to store streaming realtime data so as to build up some historical data at least over the 24 latest hours or the latest week ?

Any historical data downloaded to NinjaTrader will remain on your local PC for future use in the NinjaTrader database.

To clarify -

- Connect to your provider
- Open a chart and put on a volume indicator
- Reload historicald data --> You should see volume
- If you see volume, disconnect
- Shut down NT and save the workspace when asked
- Restart NT
--> Do you see the chart with the volume or is the volume indicator now showing anything?

I followed your instructions but when I Restarted NT still did not save all volume bars in the saved workspace charts only the last day of volume was saved.
Please advice.
Thanks.

Hello,

You are using IQFeed, what instrument are you charting? I will try to reproduce this.

I was using 30 minute charts in my comment.... when I saved with daily charts and restarted NT the daily volume was saved ok. So it must be the 30 min chart volume for some reason.
Please try it yourself.
Thanks
