I have a strategy running live and it is connected to Collective2. I added the "*" to the stock symbols that I wanted to be traded by that strategy. So, I have 10 stock symbols with * in front of collective2 in Instrument Editor. Is this the way to associate a list of stocks with a strategy?
If yes, then what if I want the same strategy with different timeframe to be executed at the same time for FOREX symbols only. Please help |

peyman20, welcome to our forums!
Yes, but you would still have to setup account groups according to the instructions in our help guide here - http://www.ninjatrader-support.com/H...llective2.html and start the strategies on the needed symbols, furthermore please keep in mind - C2 orders will be placed when you execute a real-time order within an account that is assigned to a C2 Account Group and the traded instrument has been enabled For your second question, I'm not sure I follow - you can select on which timeframe and symbols the signal generating strategy is run, the above guidelines just enabled instruments and accounts to be used for C2 tracking.

I already have a macd crossover running live on Sim101 and it is connected to C2. Now, I want the exact same strategy to work on forex symbols for another C2 strategy. Should I create a similar account to Sim101 and associate the forex symbols with that (for example Sim102). If yes, how can I create a new account (Sim02). Please advise.

peyman20, just responded also to your note send to support. Yes, this would be a good way to separate signals - http://www.ninjatrader-support.com/H...nAccounts.html

Hi All,
How do I run the strategy SampleMACrossOver for a list of Symbols? Say for S&P 500 Stocks. I just want to trade any symbols that satisfies the condition. Note: I am just testing in simulation Mode. Thanks in Advance. Mani |

Mani, welcome to the forums! You can either start up the strategy for needed symbols from the strategies tab -
http://www.ninjatrader-support.com/H...tegiesTab.html Or you use the MultiInstrument strategy feature, but this would need additional coding to make this happen - http://www.ninjatrader-support.com/H...struments.html
