Default Change format of imported data

Historical data want this format
20061107 000431;1383.00;1

However I want to import some instruments (Greek funds) with a date and a closing price. I copied to Excel then had to do many merging and spliting to get in the format Ninja wants (in Greece we use , for decimals and not . plus date is DDMMYYYY - can't change my computers general settings all the time to usa). After a lot of work I managed to export to txt and then everything was messed again...
Here is an example of my source of data
http://www.naftemporiki.gr/markets/f...2009&x=13&y=10

Any ideas how to convert fast and import in Ninja daily (EOD prices)
Is there a convertor or other utililty?

Thanx

Default

Hi alexnj, unfortunately I'm not aware of such a tool, I would also go with Excel to format and export the needed data. Maybe a workaround is running a backup PC on US settings to make this process more straightforward.

Talking

There are tools available that will very quickly find and replace text strings. I am not affiliated with the software, and it is a bit of a learning curve, but definitely useful <pun intended>

Also CSVED http://csved.sjfrancke.nl/index.html is freeware and I have used it to good advantage, but you cant automate it.
