Order Information in Indicator?

Hi,

I'm new to the entire NinjaScript lingo so please bear with me if I use incorrect terms to describe my question.

I have written a simple indicator that plots lines on a chart. When a manual order has been placed is there a way for an indicator to know the order is working? My goal is to change the plot so that it plots differently when an order has been placed and is working, or put another way when a manual order is open and waiting to be closed.

Hi David, unfortunately this is not accessible from the indicator code - however for visualization of your manual trading you can just enable the ChartTrader panel.

Too bad that isn't available in indicator code. The idea is not for me to visualize the trade; that I understand how to do with Chart Trader. The plan was for the indicator to know when a trade had been opened. Apparently you can do this within Strategie code? Is it possible to have a strategy that behaves more like an indicator? I'll have to take a look.

David, unfortunately the manual execution info is not accessible either from indicator or strategy code.
