Is there already an indicator listed which shows you what the average price range is of the prior bars up to the current one. This would be helpful in placing a stop if you're going to enter above the next high,low. Can someone please point me to this if it exists or if not, is someone with far more ability than I capable of programming something like that? Thank you.

Hi evensteven, have you looked into the ATR and Standard Deviation indicators provided by default for this?
For adaptive visual stops, you can give the two scripts listed at top a try - http://www.ninjatrader-support2.com/...ch=stop&desc=1
