Hi, I have a few quick questions: is there a way to buy/sell at the close of a bar automaticly? If so how? Is there a way to see the time in the bar or exact time to the second anyplace on chart? When I focus the chart to a smaller timeframe the bars are pretty narrow any way to widen them?

Thanks in advace for your help,

Dave

Dave,

1) Yes, you can program a NinjaScript strategy to automate your entries. The "How" is not a simple one line answer. Please review the sections on NinjaScript and Strategy Wizard in the Help Guide to give you a better understanding of NinjaTrader's capabilities. This is in NT6 only. We will hold training sessions on these capabilities starting in April.

2) We do not have a bar time counter.

3) Yes, you can change the width of a bar. Please see the Help Guide > Chart > Navigating a chart section for various approaches to changing bar width.

Hi Ray,

Thanks for the quick reply. I appreciate the help. 1 more question: When doing a reverse at target strategy how do I get it to only reverse on the first target and not the 2nd target ( after it has reversed) as well. I was trying to figure it out in simulation mode and tried a few things but could not do it with out canceling target order and reseting- I'm sure there is a easier way.... hope that makes sense..

Thanks again,

Dave

The only thing you can do is once reveresed, disable the next reverse via the right mouse click menu in the order entry window you are using.
