plot session break lines

suggestion:

on a 3 min chart with a session start of 9:30, the session break line is plotted on the 9:33 bar

I realize this is due to how NT build bars, however it is misleading

perhaps NT7 could plot the break on the prior bar?....indicating the actual session start?

The 9:33 bar contains the 9:30-9:33 time frame. Have you tried a session beginning time of 9:27 on your 3 minute chart?

I can not change the session start time as it drives a lot of other things

the point is that NT does not plot the session open/break but rather the opening bar...the longer the chart interval, the more misleading the plot is

the 9:33 bar contains 9:30:01 to 9:33:00 data....the session starts at 9:30:00...which is the bar prior to the opening bar...this is where the vertical line should plot...not on a bar that closes 3 mins after the open (on a 3 min chart)

I turn the NT chart 'grid lines' feature off and plot it myself from ind/strat code ....just seems to me NT should plot it according to the session start time...i.e. correct what is arguably a bug
