Default Migrating from one computer to another

Hello, I am looking to use NT at work and at home (I trade at work during the day during slow times).

I am new to NT and trying to move my "watch list" of stocks over from StockCharts. There are quite a few symbols - perhaps 100 - 200 or so - and querying historical data for these takes time. Thus, I'd like to get it all done at home and then migrate the database over to my work computer. Is this doable?

Also, I use IB as a broker and I keep hitting the pacing error as I try to download data for various symbols. Is there a better way to get historical intraday data, say, two months, for all of these symbols?

Hello tradinginzen,

Yes, this is supported. Please create a Market Analyzer template first.
http://www.ninjatrader-support.com/H...Templates.html

Create a backup file of all your settings.

Copy the file (.ntbk file under My Documents-->NinjaTrader Backup) to the other machine in the same My Documents-->NinjaTrader Backup folder.

Restore your settings.

Most likely you hit the IB limitation. Unfortunately there is no other workaround than wait 5 minutes and request additional historical data.
