When I send test mail on options > misc > test mail

it doesn't work! takes for ever and crashed NT

I use Vista

any suggestions?

For me, my ISP blocks port 25 (SMTP), so I had to use the alternative ports that are available from Yahoo, Gmail, etc.

I would get an error when I used the default port 25.

You might look into that, just do a google search for Yahoo SMTP ports or etc (the port # is 587).
