alert Window Link

I use 2 MAs, one for 24 hour charts, one for day session only, both eminis. With an Alert Window open, how do I tell which chart/MA (day or 24 hr.) the alert is coming from?? I don't see any Alert Window column header that would help me; I also don't see what the Alert window Link is for -- if linked to a chart, it still alerts for other symbols in MA, and since I can't open more than one Alert window at a time, I can't link it to a specific MA.

Suggestions would be appreciated.

Hello,

I suggest modifying your alert print out so it is specific to the timeframe. To do this you could use an User input string variable for the alert message that could be changed by the user.

It seems like you are talking about programming indicators; not my domain.

How about allowing more than one Alert window? Then we could link to a specific MA, to display only those alets?

Hello,

Multiple alert windows is not supported. I will suggest this to our development department for consideration.

What is generating your alerts?

Mostly, MTPredictor signals.

I suggest that you contact them and tell them what you want. We do not provide support for 3rd party indicators in this way.
