Windows Linking

I can't get the Windows Linking functionality to work. If I set 3 charts to the same link color and change the instrument on one, I thought the other 2 charts would change to the same instrument, but nothing happens. Does this feature not work?

Yes, it should work. Please provide details:
- which instrument are your charts on?
- which instrument are you toggling to?
- which broker/dataprovider ar you connected to?
- what timeframes/perdios do you have on your chart?
- is this NT6 or NT5?

- which instrument are you toggling to? - emini Russel and GBPUSD
- which broker/dataprovider ar you connected to? - Gain through AMP
- what timeframes/perdios do you have on your chart? 10 min and 3 min charts
- is this NT6 or NT5? NT5 (demo account)

How can I get a copy of NT6?

Hmm let's try to clarify: GAIN does not support the ES nor the ER2 -> you won't see any data loaded as you toggle from a currency like GPBUSD to ES while connected to GAIN.

GAIN only support backfill data for 1 day and only for currencies and it takes a while to download all ticks for any given day.

Is that the issue?

Public NT6 beta will be available with a few days.

OK, that may explain it. I have both a forex and futures demo acct and was only logged in to my forex (Gain) acct. I'll try the linking while logged in to both my forex and futures demo accts.

Update: Tonight, at 8PM EST, I connected up to Zen-Fire (Amp Futures), while also connected to GAIN, and changed from ES 12-06 to the NQ 12-06 contract, my other 2 linked windows did NOT change to NQ. So, something is not working correctly.

Sorry, I can not reprorduce.
- I connected to Zen and then to GAIN
- I pulled up 3 charts on ES
- set them all to same link color
- changed one chart to NQ and all others changed as well

a) please verify if scenario above works for you
