Default What does NinjaTrader.mdb do?

I was on the way to accessing the import and export files in My Documents\NinjaTrader 6.5\db, and noticed a sizable file called "Ninjatrader" which is an MDB file.

Will someone please tell me what it does and whether or not it's an important component to back up?

Thank you kindly,

DK

Hello,

The MDB file is your database for the NinjaTrader software. It is definitely important as it holds information such as ATM strategy templates, historical chart data, historical orders, historical executions and historical ATM strategy data. It can also be backed up and I would recommend doing so by using the instructions provided in this link.
