Automated Restart of Ninja Trader

I am planning to use a custom developed external program and the ATI interface to automated th eplacement of orders.

I realize that Ninja Trader automatically reconnects if the broker connection is lost but it appears that you have to manually start the connection each time the Ninja Trader application is started.

Ideally I would like to automatically start Ninja Trader and also automate the initial connection to the configured broker. I do not see any options in the setup menus to allow for this. Neither do I see any supported NinjaScript functions that will support this goal.

Is there a way to automate the connection to a broker on application startup? If not, can it please be added.

This is currently not supported. Thank you for your suggestion though. We will put it on the list of future considerations.

have a look at a program called "MacroExpress" this can open and close NT platform and connect to broker automatically. this is what i use, which enables everything to run on auto-pilot, dont have to do anything manually.

Do a search in the forums for hotkey.exe
