Default Measuring the speed/slope of ADX

I'm working on a system that uses ADX with +DI & -DI.
My question is :
Is there a standard indicator or approach to calculate the slope or the speed of a rising ADX indicator?
Obviously, if ADX rises from a value of 30 to 40 in a 2 minute time frame vs a 30 minute time frame, that would indicate a significant difference in the immediate
strength of the move. I'm assuming this would reflect in the slope value of the adx ( as in, a higher slope equating to a faster rising value) - just not sure how to programmatically calculate that .
Or - is there another another standard indicator that I could use in conjunction with ADX / +DI & -DI to measure this?

Thanks
Devon

Devon,

You could try using the Slope() method.

Default adx

Hey devonkyle,

Just wondering how the adx indicator worked out. I'm just starting some research on this indicator and it looks like you've got a good start.

Thanks, Jeff
