Smile Hyper-Threading VS Single Core Processor

In System Information I show 2 Intel 2800 Mhz P4 processors in one machine... looking at the Task Manager Ninja seemed to be about evenly split between these two for CPU usage . All in all.... will Ninja currently run more efficiently (less overall CPU usage) with a Hyper-Threading processor VS a single core chip ?? Today running a single core processor (3066 Mhz P4) ...NT often hit 100%CPU...while the Hyper-Threading machine seemed to be running more efficiently...though I did not run that one that much today. Has NT found this to be the case generally ??

Also...is setting the NT Display update interval to 1 second generally acceptable ?

Thanks....

Hello,

Thank you for your post.

No, we have not found that NinjaTrader uses 100% CPU resources with single core processors.

Please check these performance tips to lower CPU usage: http://www.ninjatrader-support.com/H...anceTips1.html

This is acceptable and is based on user preference. Test it out for awile and see if it works for you.
