In the DOME there are values for the current number of pending Buy orders and Sell orders. These values, for the 5 price levels, are totaled in the DOME and called Accumulated Volume I believe.

Is there a way for my indicator to get those Accumulated Volume values for both the Buy and Sell sides for every OnBarUpdate (OnUpdateBar?) event?

Hi Ray,

How about in Ninja Trader v6.0? Is there access to the ACV now?

Please take a look at the V6 indicators
- BuySellVolume
- BuySellPressure

They may achieve what you are looking for.

I have a similar question about ACV. I would like to see the ratio of total Buy vs. total Sell volume from the DOM. The BuySellVolume is a bar chart, and doesn't show historical data, which would make it more useful. The BuySellPressure... I don't know what that's telling me... nor does it show historical values.

So, how do I capture the ACV for buy and sell in realtime and convert it to a ratio to display as a number on the chart? I assume I would be creating a new indicator for this - I just need the method or property to use.

Thanks!
Bryan

I would like to request a modification where the accumulated value on the DOM gets displayed a little differently from the 5 other values. Either make it bold, a different color, or place a heavier line between it and the other 5 values, so it's easily distinguished as the ACV.

Thanks for your suggestion. We'll add it to the list for future considerations.

Also: please post non-related issues (here: DOM, below: indicator) on a new thread.
