Interferes w/ TS

Have full-on CPU, have latest version of NT and when I connect NT to TS, NT works, however, TS charts stall and I get an hourglass. NT still gives data, however charts remain frozen and the only way to resolve is turn off NT and reboot. Would like to use NT but this problem seems to be intractable since it occured w/ a previous version of NT.

I assume you mean TS charts are frozen? Did you change any settingsin TS? Did you change the NTExternal Feed strategy?

per the instructions provided, no deviation. TS=TradeStation, TS charts freeze and hourglass appears and Task Manager indicates TradeStation "unresponsive"

As far as inserting the NTExternal Feed, do I have to insert a strategy for eachInstrumentor just insert it once in any Instrument. i.e. insert it in ES and then simulate trades w/ ER2, ES, YM, NQ etc, or do I have to insert a separate External Feed strategy in each Instrument? Maybe that was my problem since I had 5 charts w/ five External Feeds.

You need one for each instrument you want to trade in NinjaTrader. Sounds like you are pushing TS limits with this strategy. Try only one and see how it performs and add one at a time until you get an idea of where TS slows down.

Thank you. I now have the stategy in all instruments, however, status is only active in two at a time

In TradeStation you can toggle the stratigies on or off per charting screen
