Difference between the export file and the chart

    Hi

i have a file .csv of a stock on daily : date, open, high, low, close and volume

i import the historical data, everything good but when i open the chart of the stock and i watch the levels there is alway a difference of 5 or 6 ticks with my level on the file.

do you know where is the problem ?

    Thx
    Thomas.

    Hi Thomas,

Are you connected to another data provider that is overwriting the data?

If you can send us a sample of the data we can compare on our end. A screenshot of the chart is also helpful as it will let us know how you are identifying the discrepancy.

Hi Ryan, thx for your response

i was on the 6.5 NT... forget it

BUT, i downloaded the NT 7 and when i download my historical data i have 1 day offbeat... i mean the for example the 25th of January on my file is on the chart the 26th of January...

      do you know why ?

This likely has to do with these factors:
        • The time zone of your PC clock.
        • The session template used and the time zone selection here.
        • The time zone of imported data selected during import process.

Make sure all these are consistent.

          Hi
the time zone on my PC is GMT+1 Paris
even when i download from yahoo the 27th of january on the chart is the quote of 26th january... so yesterday, there is one day offbeat... which session template i have to use for French Stock ?

ok Ryan i find it... no worries about my previous message

just a question, anyone know when Yahoo, Google give the EOD of the current day, for example we are the 27 of January, 10:30 pm in Paris, the market is close since 5 hours and i download the data from yesterday, not today yet !

Unfortunately there's no official time. It's all based on data providers discretion.
