getting fx symbols for esignal up and running in NT
I've gone the route of getting the esignal forex GTIS data because the GAIN data is so brief and and from what I've seen abit strange as to what is saved and disseminated. Anyway I've installed the esignal data manager with minor aggravation as I selected RUN and apparently I wasn't supposed to do that and it stripped my NT6 off the computer. So I installed esig and reinstalled NT6 and have the connection established with esignal but I don't know how to get the esignal symbols going. I've tried the esignal symbol maps for example EUR A0-FX, I also tried EURUSD AO-FX but no luck. The NT instrument manager keeps putting a $ sign in front of the symbol I don't know what to do about or if it's a problem at all. The esignal support is kinda rude and I'm starting to think Imade a mistake. Help would be appreciated.
Thanks

I did not realize you also had a GAIN connection.
Here is how it works.
On GAIN connection, disable Historical Data (I believe you have done so)
Connect to GAIN first
Connect to eSignal second
NT will then use GAIN for real-time data and eSignal for historical
If you connect in the reverse order, NT will use eSignal for both real-time and historical
