daily chart gap

why is my ES daily chart always having a lot gaps how to remove them, since the daily ES chart on other platform does not have gaps. thanks

i use kinetick end of day feed

Thanks for the note.

With daily charts you are forced to use the session template of the provider. The provider may send data out on daily bars as ETH or RTH. (Extended Trading Hours) or (Regular Trading Hours) with Extended including the overnight trading.

There is only 1 workaround and that is to use a 1440 minute chart since there are 1440 minutes in 1 day and then apply a ETH session template to the chart when you create it. This will display Extended trading hour daily bars using minute data.

Kinetick has only ETH data.

If there are gaps on the chart, it is probably because Kinetick EOD data has been overwritten with Zenfire data or something else. Just connect to Kinetick EOD, open a daily chart, reload historical chart data and the gaps will be gone.
