Why is the optimizer window system modal???

I really don't get it. Why does the Optimizer "Please Wait..." window stay on top of EVERY other window?

This is EXTREMELY poor user interface design in my opinion. Its bad enough to have the splash screen and other windows staying on top for 30-60 seconds, but having this window that can't be minimized stay on top for 1-2 hours is really ridiculous.

I really hope that NT7 has NO system modal windows, there is absolutely no need for them. They serve no purpose other than to annoy every user continuously.

Is there any chance of this being changed in NT 6.5.x?

Thank you for fixing this! It was a big complaint of mine as well. (You might make sure the same fix applies to the data box for charts, etc.)

I agree, I even hope it will be addressed in a dot release since we're still many months out for a non-beta NT7.
