    Yahoo Connection

    Hi,

Can anyone tell me when yahoo eod data is available for UK and US stockmarkets

Also, does kinetick have free eod data for stocks? if so what is the format?

    Hello ryebank,

    Thank you for your note.

1.) Unfortunately, I do not have a time to provide for this. I would suggest contacting Yahoo Finance with this question.

2.) Kinetick EOD provides data for futures, forex and equities.

3.) I'm not following on your question regarding format. Can you clarify?

        Hi ryebank,

        Thanks for the clarification.

These LSE instruments, while available within NinjaTrader, are not available through Kinetick.

"2.) Kinetick EOD provides data for futures, forex and equities."

So if BARC/BARC.L/BARC-LON don't work then what does? Are UK equities/Futures covered

            Hi ryebank,

Kinetick EOD officially supports US Futures, Forex and Equities.

So, unfortnately UK instruments are likely not supported.

                Hello,

All equities that your broker supports. If your broker supports an equities exchange that is not listed in NT let us know and we can show you how to add one. If you know your borker supports the instrument:

The easiest way to add an instrument and have all of the settings correct for your broker is to do this:
Please delete any instruments you have added by going to Tools>Instrument Manager>select the instrument you added on the master list on the right>Delete.
                Now:
                - Open a DOM
                - Type the symbol of the instrument into the instrument field
                - Press Enter on your keyboard. This adds the instrument to your master list in the Instrument Manager, it is call on-the-fly.
                - Now follow this link to add the instrument your Default list:
                http://www.ninjatrader-support.com/HelpGuideV6/AddRemoveFromList.html
If the exchange is not on the list of exchanges we can show you how to add a new exchange as well.
