Volume Profile

Hi,

Is there a Volume Profile or Market Profile indicator?
I'm looking for the value area on a chart.

Thank you for your message. There is a VolumeProfile indicator which comes preinstalled with NinjaTrader 7.

Additionally, you might be able to find something here in the forums which better suits your needs. Here is a basic guideline of how to Import NinjaScripts.

To import NinjaScripts you will need the original .zip file.

To Import

Download the NinjaScripts to your desktop, keep them in the compressed .zip file.

From the Control Center window select the menu File> Utilities> Import NinjaScript

Select the downloaded .zip file

NinjaTrader will then confirm if the import has been successful.
Critical - Specifically for some NinjaScripts, it will prompt that you are running newer versions of @SMA, @EMA, etc. and ask if you want to replace, press 'No'

Once installed, you may add the indicator to a chart by:

Right click your chart > indicators > Select the Indicator from the list on the left > New > OK

Compatibility question

Hi,
Thank you for your info. I've found one "Calculate Value Area". However, it has been exported using NT version 6.5.1000.1. Is this compatible with current NinjaTrader 7 or 8?

Also is the Ichimoku Kino Yu same as above. Same question.
I have attached the pics for them. Pls. see. Thank you.

Thank you for your reply. The indicators you found for NinjaTrader 6.5.1000.1 may be compatible with NinjaTrader 7, but will not work with NinjaTrader 8. You can try to import them using the instructions from my previous post.
