    Log File problems and Live Trade Problems

    Firstly, I started using NT using the Kwikpop indicators. I cancelled the arrangement and deleted Kwikpop from my computer. My problem is I am getting multiple indications that Kwikpop is still around and causing problems.

    Secondly, I can Enter trades using the The Order page and my LIVE account number will show as the Account with the trade. When I try my strategy I get Sim101 only. I cannot trade the strategy LIVE. Any Ideas?

    Log files also contain:
    1. KP"Unable to create state"
    2. Vendor assembly "KPNinja trader" loaded
    3. Unable to validate user password and user
    4. No vendor file found in program tree for me to delete
    5. KP: found unknown error during Init

    How do I get rid of the Vendor relationship with KP? I have deleted the program and I have nowhere to zap.

    Did you uninstall Kwikpop by uninstaller provider by Kwikpop or did you manually delete files?

        You will need to fully remove all traces of KP from your system then. I suggest you contact KP for a comprehensive uninstall instruction set. Otherwise I suggest you look around in your NinjaTrader folder for any traces of KP indicators or KP references from within your indicator/strategies.

        Look for some .dll relationships. Also right click while in the NinjaScript Editor and go to references. See if there are any KP references in there.

          Then your NT installation is screwed up. You NEVER should manually delete any files/directory in the NT installation (unless advised by NT support) but go through appropriate uninstallers.

          To restore:
          - uninstall NT via control panel
          - manually delete folder <my documents>/NinjaTrader<version>/bin/Custom.
          Note: You will loose all your custom NinjaScript files !
          - reinstall NT

            Deletions

            The deletions were in the Kwikpop directory. Kwikpop came back and said I could do the following:
            Ninja has an removal function. In control center > File > Utilities > Remove Ninjascript > select Kwikpop

            I removed the NT Assembly that refered to KP.

            Thanks, I still may hve to uninstall and reinstall NT, who knows.

              Drag and drop Strategies

              Can I drag and drop my strategies to the desk top and then drag them back in on the new install? OR could I imort them into the newer version of NT that was just released. . . 6.5.0.10 or something close to that as I am doing this from memory.

              I appreciate your help.

                Hi,

                You can transfer strategies, workspaces etc. More info about where all is located can be found here:


                The only files you can't transfer are the Config and Market Replay files.
