    Problem with market replay playback

    Hi,

    I am facing a problem when playing a downloaded sesion (any trading day) and then replay it by usind the market replay in NT8. I made a video to show you what it is happening. Everything goes well, until the bars stop moving (you can see at the left bottom corner the bar timer in 00:00 all time while the time in the playback window is still running).

    I have tried to install again the NT8, to restore the workspace, testing with other trading days and other contracts different from the one that fails but all of them under all situations have the same problem.

    I hope I am doing wrong but in NT7 all goes OK with same procedure.

    Hello Jose,

    Thanks for writing in to our Support team and for putting together that video.

    NinjaTrader 7 and NinjaTrader 8 use separate servers for Market Replay Data, so it is very likely that the replay data is available from NinjaTrader 7's servers but not NinjaTrader 8's servers.

    I wasn't able to make out the dates that you were trying to replay in the video - the video quality was too poor for me to be able to read this information. So that I can test further, can you please provide me the dates that you were attempting to view data for on the ES? The dates appeared to be somewhere in early January of 2016, but I would like for you to clarify before moving forward.

      I am sorry I did not pay attention to the quality.... The contract is ES 03-16 and the date is 01/02/2016.
