Yahoo Connection

Hi,

Is it just me or is there a fundamental issue getting yahoo EOD data in to NT.

I've created a connection to yahoo, imported the ftse all share list which I’ve downloaded from yahoo and imported in NT. However every time i create a MA, add the list of shares and the indicators i use it just crashes NT. It's managed to load about 5 out of 600 instruments but just hangs on 'This request can not be aborted' and basically i have to kill NT and even after restarting it just struggles to load any info

Is yahoo data available during the weekend, when can i download EOD data from yahoo during the week?

Any ideas on how to get this working?

Can we not set up a connection to Google as I suspect they will handle this 100 times better than yahoo

Thank you for your post.

In order to assist with issue please your most recent Log & Trace files to support AT ninjatrader DOT com.

They can be found in their (My) Documents folder in the following folders:
1. NinjaTrader 6.5 > Trace > trace.YYYYMMDD.txt
2. NinjaTrader 6.5 > Log > log.YYYYMMDD.txt

If you are using NinjaTrader 7 then just substitute 7 for 6.5 in the file path above.

Make sure to attach these text (.txt) files to your response/email.
