    Drawing lines on Trix indie - broken?

    Hi,

    I've been trying to draw simple trend lines and ray lines on my Trix indicator. Every time I release the line tool (set the end point of the line) the line snaps to horizontal. EVERY time. I then have to re-select it and drag the end point to where I originally wanted it.

    Can anyone explain this or, preferably, give me the solution?

    Thank you for your post.

    I just tested and the lines worked fine for me in the Trix indicator panel.

    Please confirm you are on the latest release, 6.5.1000.8 by looking under Help --> About.

      Thanks. I see I'm using v1000.6

      Would that make the difference do you think?

            OK. Updated to 1000.8. Still doing exactly the same thing.

            Trix indicator.
            Draw line from peak A to lower peak B.
            Line jumps to horizontal from peak A and has to be reselected and dragged back down to peak B.

              Try using a NEW, blank chart. Then add the Trix and test again.

                OK. Did that. Nothing but HiLo candles and Trix. No templates. No other indies.

                Same result.

                  Please try repairing your NinjaTrader Installation:
                  1. Shut Down NinjaTrader
                  2. Go to Uninstall Programs in the Windows Control Panel
                  3. Select NinjaTrader and hit the "Repair" or "Change" button and follow instructions to repair installation.

                      OK. I repaired v1000.8 as instructed. Still doing it. driving me insane.
                      I've made a short video to show I ain't makin' this up, but the forum has SUCH a tiny upload file size limit, I can't post it here...

                        Ok, try uninstalling Ninjatrader6.5 (All of your data and settings will be saved under \Documents\NinjaTrader6.5).

                        Once it is uninstalled, try reinstalling 6.5.1000.8.

                              OK.

                              Uninstalled. Reinstalled. Still doing it.
                              I went to my trading group of five guys. It's the same for ALL of them.

                              If you give me some email or ftp, I'll upload the video that shows it happening.
