need help creating new column

I'm looking to create a column that monitors the highs or lows of another column. For example; A) Record the highest or lowest value of the net change column in %
B) " " of the Profit/Loss column in $.

Is there a way to share a MA window with live and simulated trades? Or an Ma window for Live and one for sim?

Thank you for your post.

1. Regarding the ability to create columns based on other columns you could create alerts based on absolute values of those columns:

However, if you are wanting to view those high and low values you can custom code your own indicator, and then add that indicator column to the Market Analyzer.


NinjaTrader advanced charting is extensible in that you can create custom indicators using NinjaScript which is based on the modern C# programming language.

2. If you are adding a column based on account performance in the Market Analyzer you can specify the account that it refers to, and if you add that same column with a separate account you can view Market Analyzer columns for each type of account. More information at:

Additionally, opening two separate Market Analyzers, one for a live account and one for a simulated account would work as well, and which method you use will be a preference.
