    Hello magnatauren,

    Thank you for your response.

You can switch to the NinjaTrader Historical Servers under Tools > Account Connections > FXCM > Change > Next > select 'Use NinjaTrader servers' > Next > Next > Finish.

Please let me know if I may be of further assistance.

I'm using Ninjatrader servers according to my connection, I just set it to use FXCM's connection and the problem still exists.

Sorry to be bugging you with this for 2 straight days!

        Hello magnatauren,

        Thank you for your response.

Both servers would see this item occur per the information below:
The FXCM Trading Station may report a certain volume for a hybrid historical/real-time bar (half of it was historical, half real-time). This volume does NOT necessarily match their own historical volume for the bar as it becomes complete so should not be used to compare against volume shown in NinjaTrader. For an apples to apples comparison of volume between NT and FXCM, bars in both software applications need to be 100% historical bars or 100% real-time bars.

You mean that you want to change the incoming data, to behave the way that you want, instead of dealing with the data that is actually provided?

As far as I can tell, all volume data for FOREX is suspect anyway, as the lack of a central exchange means that there is really no basis for determining true volume data.

or is there another problem with the data I'm getting?
I am not sure that I fully understand your question. Are you saying that you cannot quite comprehend the how scale effects affect visual perception?
