Hello, I just downloaded NT, but when I click on icon it will not open. It says NT is having problem connecting to its license server. Please help. James

Hello camaro,
It sounds like a firewall on your PC or on the network your computer is on is preventing NinjaTrader from accessing our license servers. To test this, please disable all firewalls and then restart NinjaTrader and see if it works. If yes, you just need to add ninjatrader.com to the exception list (safe list) for your firewall software.

Hey Chris, Thanks for the reply, but I dont think that is the problem. I turned off the firewall and it still says the same thing as before. James

Hello James,
Our license servers are currently up and functioning. Are you running any other security software like anti-virus software? Please try connecting directly to your modem bypassing your router. Also try restarting your PC and trying again.

Hey Chris, I have already tried this. My anti-virus and security software is completely off when I try to open up NT. Still wont open. My wireless router is built into my modem. Not sure how I would do this.

Please send me your log and trace files to support[at]ninjatrader[dot]com with "ATTN: Patrick" in the subject line and please reference this thread in the body of your e-mail: http://www.ninjatrader.com/support/f...ad.php?t=51436. You will find the log file on your PC in the (My) Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Log folder. The log file will be named "log.20120726.txt" You will find the trace file on your PC in the (My) Documents > NinjaTrader 7 > Trace folder. The trace file will be named "trace.20120726.txt" I look forward to assisting you further.
