I am trying to backtest a strategy which involves future contracts (minis) on indices (mini dow, nasdaq, etc.), but involves placing trades before and after the traditional market hours. However, the free historical data that comes from Kinetick only shows data that starts at 9:30 and ends around 4 pm.
Is there a way to get historical, intraday data (for the past year, let's say) for mini futures that include actual futures trading hours for backtesting purposes? Is it free? What are other ways to get historical data without having to pay for it during strategy development/backtesting?
Thanks a bunch!
