NT8 Charts don't finish loading Historical Data and/or Indicators

    NT8 Charts don't finish loading Historical Data and/or Indicators

    This is becoming annoying. When I (re-)start NT8 v8.0.12.0 my charts don't finish loading historical data and/or indicators. The message in the log says, "Connection lost to the Ninjatrader Historical Data Server. hds-us-001.ninjatrader.com". Seconds later it says it was restored, however the charts won't finish loading and freeze. Some charts say, "Loading..." and some just don't plot the indicators.

    This happens sometimes when I restart NT8 and sometimes during a session when I either change periodicities or create new charts.

    The only thing I can do is open the Task Manager (Windows10) and close the process. Please tell me how this can be resolved. Thank you.

    Thank you for your note.

    Please follow the steps below to manually attach your log and trace files to an email to platformsupport[AT]ninjatrader[DOT]com with "ATTN CHRIS S" in the subject line so I may investigate this matter further.

    * Open your NinjaTrader folder under Documents.
    * Right click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder.
    * Send the 2 compressed folders as attachments to this email.
    * Once complete, you can delete these compressed folders.

      Hi, is there a solution to this problem?
      Since I started NT8 (8.0.12.0 - Windows 10) this morning, today's data will not load correctly.
      If I change time frame, the candles start from that moment in time and there is no history for today, but prior history is in tact.
      I have reinstalled NT8 - same problem.
      I have deleted the cache file in documents\ninjatrader8\db
      I have reloaded all historical data.

      What can I do to fix this problem?

          Same problem here. It seems like an issue with the NT historical data servers for today's session.

            It works on Ninja 7. But fails on Ninja8
