    Calculate RSI based on OHLC/4

    I would like to modify the RSI "Price type" to ((Open + High + Low + Close)/4). If someone could point me in the right direction as to what needs to be changed in the script I would really appreciate it.

    qwiktrade, welcome to your forums!

    Easiest as first step would be to work with this call in the OnBarUpdate() of your custom indicator -

    Code:

    Plot0.Set(RSI(Typical,14, 3)[0]);
    But this only calculates the RSI on the Typical price...unfortunately the price formula you need is not available per default, so you would need to create a dataseries for this and then pass this in the RSI formula instead of Typical in the above call.
