Hi , I run into a couple of futures contracts in e-Signal
that use year and then month, i.e,
BRN 0H and GAS 0H instead the conventional
H0. I can read the contracts as Stock
BRN 0F-ICE (in the IPE exchange). Is there any workaround to read
them in as futures so that you can still use the auto-merge
utility?

on a separate issue.
I have the FTI individual futures contract downloaded
How do I force NT7 to merge backadjust.
I can callculate the offset by hand but the program sets it to "0" ?
although I request specifically to MergeBackAdjusted

All you have to do is punch in the value you want to use instead and it will use that instead of 0 with MergeBackAdjusted.

Is there a way to force it to calculate the offset automatically?

Also, if I manually set it would it be overwritten to zero upon
reconnecting to e-signal?

If you manually set it, it won't get overwritten. It usually automatically calculates when you have daily bars.

Well, I downloaded 1 minute data.
Is there a way to create the daily in order to force the
calculation of the offset?

Only way to force daily creation off of minute data is if you imported that in the Historical Data Manager. You could try exporting and then importing.

has the support for ESignal BRN & GAS been included in NT7 i.e. the symbol format being BRN 0H-ICE instead of BRN H0-ICE?

If not is there a workaround I can use to trade this contracts automatically e.g. can I set them up as stocks and still trade them automatically?

I set it under Futures and for Exchenge ICE and for Mapping to eSignal I set BRN and GAS (no |)
